The gap

Not many people build kayak-specific.

Most "kayak gear" is general tackle that just happens to hold up — not designed around a seat, close-quarters casting, or a cockpit that takes real abuse. That kind of engineering is genuinely rare. We're closing that gap.

Rod and reel samples are in hand and getting fished on Chickamauga and the TVA lakes before a single unit goes into production. No shortcuts on that part.

Why I built this

I got stuck picking a rod and reel — so I built the one I wanted.

I wanted premium features, but I wasn't willing to pay premium prices to get them. Everything readily available at $250 or under just wasn't appealing — built to hit a price point, not built to actually fish well. Fishing is an art. It shouldn't be prohibitively expensive to do it right. So I started building what I actually wanted instead.
